You know, there are times when you just need to eat something quick because your gut is growling, but you’re so tired and/or lazy that you don’t have the time to go far, take the extra mile and pull out the frying pans and all fire up the stove.
Here’s a very easy, yet really delicious way to make your breakfast/snack or whatever in between food: Corned Tuna Bread.
This is something you can make in five minutes and it tastes unbelievably good. Aside from the corned tuna, which you can grab cheap at any supermarket, you’ll need:
- Bread – any type goes but I have wheat bread here
- Pickle Relish
- Black Pepper
- Parmesan Cheese
- Just lay out the bread.
- Spread some mayonnaise on it.
- Mix in some pickle relish
- Spread the corned tuna on top.
- Sprinkle some parmesan.
- Put in toaster for a few minutes.
- Grind some pepper on top, and you’re done!
It’s suitably savory, with some good saltiness but a little sourness to keep things interesting. Toasted the bread becomes delicious and goes well with the tuna. The added parmesan and pepper.
Breakfast really doesn’t get much better than this.
